Gaylord Palms: Goblins & Giggles 2020

Best Orlando Travel Spots this Fall

Are you looking for the perfect weekend getaway?! Gaylord Palms is the perfect place to visit this fall! My boyfriend, Logan, and I were looking for the perfect weekend getaway and we couldn't have been happier with our stay at Gaylord Palms. Between the Goblin & Giggles activities, Cypress Springs water park/pools and on-site shops and restaurants, this resort has it all!

Our Room

I was super impressed with our hotel room. We snagged the Emerald Bay guest room and not only was our room extremely spacious, but the atrium view overlooking the lush gardens was absolutely stunning! The room included a king size bed, desk with electrical outlets, chair with ottoman, TV, mini fridge, alarm clock, phone, iron and safe. Complimentary water and coffee/tea service was also included. The bathroom had a double vanity with glass shower, a hair dryer was also provided. Overall, the perfect room for two! Rollaway beds/crib can be added for an additional charge.

Goblins & Giggles

Goblins & Giggles is the reason we chose Gaylord Palms for our weekend getaway. We were so excited to experience the resorts' activities and each of them exceeded our expectations! Goblins & Giggles provides the perfect weekend getaway because the resort has everything you need for a fun-filled trip!

Castillo de San Marcos ALIVE! Ghost Experience

This experience really put us in the Halloween spirit! Wander through a replica of St Augustine's Castillo de San Marcos fort where you will hear real-life ghost stories from live storytellers. Be careful! You may encounter spirits who are trapped within! SpookEasy is available too! Awesome holiday themed adult beverages available for purchase at the end of the ghost experience.

Spookley the Square Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt

This is great for kids of all ages! Spookley is hidden in 8 hiding spots all over the resort. A booklet is provided for you and you can win a prize by following the clues and solving the puzzles!

A few other activities that will get you in the Halloween spirit:

  • Resort-wide Trick or Treating

  • Phantom of the Atrium Light Display

  • Bedtime Stories with Morgana & Montster Mash Bash with Vlad

  • Moonlight Movie at the Pool

  • Spookley the Square Pumpkin Meet & Greet

Enjoy Cypress Springs Water Park

While enjoying your stay at Gaylord Palms, visit Cypress Springs Water Park. We had such a blast hanging by the pool when we had off time from the Goblins & Giggles activities! There are several pools so tons of room for people to swim and enjoy the water! There are also several slides! There are three adult slides; I went on each of them and they are ALL a blast! There are also a few slides for the kiddos! Did I mention the HUGE treehouse playground?! Your kiddos will not want to leave! The SandBar is also out at Cypress Springs Water Park. Servers will come to you to take your order (food and beverage) which makes things so, so convenient!

Explore the Resort

As I'm sure you know by now, Gaylord Palms is filled with things to do! You will not get bored! However, we had a blast just exploring the site! Acres and acres filled with beauty! The resort truly has it all. Restaurants, shops, water park and so much more! From the grand atrium to the beautiful gardens, this resort is a must when staying in Orlando/Kissimmee, FL!

Overall, I couldn't rave more about our Goblins & Giggles Weekend Getaway! Honestly, I would say I only touched on the activities available at Gaylord Palms in this post! I could go on and on about the amenities available, too! It truly is the perfect weekend away and super family-oriented!
